Cook wins CMSD Future Falcons Track Meet!
Cook’s Track Team competed in the CMSD Future Falcon Track Meet held at the Columbus High track on May 18, 2017. Reading Fair Winners
Congratulations to Kameron Johnson (Ms. Thomason’s 3rd Grade) and LaRencia Ham (Mrs. Ward’s 1st Grade) for winning 1st Place at the District Reading Fair. Kameron also won 2nd Place in the Regional Reading Fair! We’re very proud of these creative students.
Fundraiser for the Humane Society
In February, SPIRIT students in grades 2-5 coordinated a school wide supply drive to benefit the Lowndes-County Humane Society.

Cook Student to Advance in Punt, Pass & Kick!
One of Cook’s 2nd graders, Kasey Thomas from Mrs. Gordon’s class, has advanced in Punt, Pass & Kick! She has been invited to the Saints’ Team Competition in New Orleans on Nov. 27th. She will be recognized pregame & halftime during the Saints vs Rams game beginning at 12:00. Way to go, Kasey!
Over 800 books donated to our library!
On November 10, 2016 over 800 books were generously donated to the Cook Elementary library by Mitzi Younger, Lee Tortirici, and Dixie Belue who are representatives of the Lowndes County Republican Women.
